I bought the R7 5800HS+GTX1650 flavor of the G14. First off I would recommend installing another 8GB of DDR4-3200 RAM even before turning it on. Dual 8GB(or any other capacity) memory channels will help with Ryzen performance in general. Once you turn it on remove all the bloatware. Keep Armoury Crate and MyAsus only if you need them and install the latest Ryzen chipset drivers for your processor from AMD's website. One you tune the power profiles acc. to your preference, this laptop is a beast at what it does. Also the laptop will never to go sleep since Ryzen does not have proper sleep states, use Hibernate instead of Sleep wherever applicable.

This particular configuration seems to suit my workflow. Crisp screen, decent keyboard (backlight), well executed hinge concept and a stunning battery life (of course with some tweaks), plenty of ports to work with and performance, you know it 🔥There is no internal camera, so I had to get one from Amazon itself (Redragon)(just plug and play).Also no anime matrix (not a deal breaker at all)

Battery lasts about 6-7 hours on maximum settings i. e, 144Hz and Backlit both on...(and can last for 9-10 hrs at 60Hz and keyboard light off)+ RAM is optimum , not much and not less.., as the system software itself takes up 40% of the RAM... bt I never felt a discomfort in RAM management.+ Video Quality is an awesome experience.. letting u to have a full screen video experience... It really has a very thin bezzels..+ Audio output is not that good , to be honest. Bt it's average.+ Fan working audio is minimal... And the system does gets hot but the hinge helps a lot in heat management.+ Gaming is a feast🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
