Loving it so far. Seems great and a 6 core processor with a Rtx 3060 combined with 90w+5w tgp can handle anything you throw at it, be it gaming, editing, etc. Only thing that could've been better in this price range is the display quality. It's not bad at all, but HP Victus and Acer Nitro both provide a display with 100% srgb in the same price range, and 69% srgb is what this laptop has, but yes, the build quality of this laptop is way better than the HP Victus and slightly better than the Acer Nitro and its battery is also better than them both. Personally, the display is not a problem for me but if you are someone who needs color accuracy for the work you do, you'll be better off buying one of those other two.
It is best laptop around 1 lakh range with 3060 is your choice. I am reviewing it after 2 months of use and working nice till now..Will update the review if I face any issue in future.I purchased particularly for deep learning model building. It is superfast and takes less time than google coab free.
I got this Laptop in ₹88 and in this Price Range Nobody can give you a Gaming PC.I know It was more than a Year I was waiting for a Budget Segment. And After all efforrs I found a Lucky deal ❤Hitman, Watch Dogs, GTA, Tomb Raiders just run smooth.I jist found one Bug that is When I run OpenRails with Ultra colors settings the FPS drops and Game Lags but it might be the Game issue as it is Moded too much.Final words.1. Good for Gaming2. 4 Modes of operation for battery saving and Gaming performance.## Battery is 90W🙆🏻‍♂️ and Charger is 200🤷🏻‍♂️ its insane my old Gaming laptop charger was 65watt 😂😂3. I baught extra Fan forn better cooling and a Ctype to VGA for my old 60hz Desktoo4. Bulid Quality is Tough.##Go for Tuf F15 i5 11400h compare this CPU with other budger cpu.You can Run Hitman 2 at Ultra settings With 140 highest FPS
While there are many options, but as of now none offer the same money to reward ratio as of FEB 2022. Edit- earlier i gave it 5 star review but now I'm changing it to 3.5 stars because of the the x16 Ram (mentioned in cons).Pros1. RTX3060 is more future proof than RTX3050 because of 6 GB DDDR62. Asus is offering very cheap warranty (don't get warranty from Asus app, go to asuspromo website; As of now that's for laptop bought in Feb)3. Price4. Even after bottlenecking after reaching Thermal limit, BF1 was running at 60-70FPS max resolution and high settings (ambient temperature was around 15 degree Celsius). In summers, result may differ.Neutral points1. Laptop heats up (not while doing ordinary tasks tho). Please use a coolpad and if someone is into heavy gaming, consider replacing the thermal paste. Go for thermal grislys. They are very good.2. Fans are noisy but there is also silent mode.3. Design is more sober than other Laptops by TUF but it's still kinda flamboyant. I guess it's each to his own here.4.16 gigs of ram, although i don't know if it's IX8 or IX16 (that difference matters)5. i5400h is bottlenecking the GPU but there is always something bottlenecking. Plus the GPU'sTDP is capped at 95 so it evens it out (while definitely improving thermals, technically)6. Asus says that it has improved the thermals (which was the main issue with 2020 TUF laptops) but they haven't improved as much as i wished. I'm not putting this in cons because all laptops especially gaming ones suffer from this. And Asus did extend the heatsink to GPU in this model, so they did make some changes. I kinda feel it's the thermal paste here which is failing us.7. Speakers, webcam and microphone are okay.Cons1. 512 GB storage is a joke. Laptop industry is going downhill. 1TB was the standard back in 2013. How times have changed and companies still cut corners.2. It's a plastic laptop (with the exception of screen back panel, i think)3. SSD upgrade is a must. But Asus will charge ₹1350 for it.4. No free MS office provided.5. Not recommended for content creators because of lower Srgb and Argb ratings.6.RAM is x16 not x8 (x16 is an older version of DDR4 and according to some figures the difference in performance is reduced by 5-15 percent). This saves the company very few hundred rupees but impacts the performance somewhat significantly. They have also failed to mention the technical details of the type of Ram provided.Final verdictNext gen laptops are coming, which will be more compatible with Windows 11 (because of P Cores and E Cores), they will have DDR5 Ram with PCIE gen 4.But they will definitely take 3-4 months to arrive and will be expensive for another 3-6 months. So, if you require a laptop now or can't wait (not much merit in waiting, tech is always gonna be better in every 3-6 months). Now that i have said that, i must say PCIE4 and 12th gen will make a bigger difference than usual tech advances. Now back to this laptop,i think it's a very good laptop (especially after an SSD upgrade and thermal paste change, please don't cheap out on thermal paste). It can run any game you throw at it with max resolution and ultra to high settings (Especially with RTX off and DLSS enabled). PS5 is not even close to the performance of this laptop (but that's a separate discussion).Temperature throttling by Asus is decent with acceptable bottlenecking (atleast to me). Some laptop with Ryzen go upto 100 degree Celsius, which is too much for my taste.Edit- Ram thing still stings. One more thing, before buying make sure which seller you are buying from.
So overall I am very impressed by the laptop. The most crucial thing to consider was RTX 3060 95w and i5 11400h at @ ₹91k only. After using for aprrox 2 weeks following are the pros and cons I got -Pros -- Best RTX3060 variant at this price. Tested on valorant- 200 avg fps at custom settings, warzone 100 fps avg custom settings, apex legends 130-144avg fps on custom settings. Genshin Impact 60 fps constant at Max settings.- no flaws in i5 11400h processor. Identical to amd ryzen 5 alternative.- audio quality through headphone is very good- build quality 👌- temps are in control below 85 till date. A major improvement from last gen models.- iGPU and battery mode is also good.- descent speakers not bad not very good- high refresh rate with adaptive sync looks good- descent display for gaming and media consumption- battery life is beast- IO And ports are fantasticCons -- Display response time is slow- Display is not meant for designers and professionals creators- low on default storage only 500gb- wifi card is average- IPS glow in my piece was little high at lower left corner (not deal breaker)So overall you cant get anything better than this under 1 lac. Even Msi alternatives are not good. Acer alternatives are bad beacause they thermal throttle and hardware issues are inevitable within first year only. laptops which can outperform this model are higher variants available by msi asus and lenovo, but they are all ₹1,15,000+.Grab it when its available at ₹90999/₹94999 or on FK at ₹94700. THANKYOU
