★☆☆☆☆ After 4 months of buying this, the left analogue stick was not at all working properly, even though I tried solving the problem but I lost.If you want to use it for like 4-5 months then go for the redhead one,Or else go for Logitech f710 wireless gamepad if you don't want to experience any malfunction
★★★★★ I was also uncertain about this product but I bought it after seeing the reviews.im glad I bought it. It’s fantastic. Material quality also feels premium. The vibration feedback is also fantastic. The battery life is also great
★★★★★ It is one of the best gamepad under Rs 1300. I played PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER & GTA 4 on Windows 10 PC and it worked perfectly.I also used it with my Andriod Mobile & it also supports that. VIBRATION IS JUST TOO GOOD.I got it for Rs 810 & I recommend it to everyone.
★★★★☆ I am writing this review just to help those who are facing the left analog stick problem... So before i bought this product, I read a review from this 'sree' person and he said that the left analog stick went left even though he wasn't touching it.. At first I thought that maybe he just got a faulty one... so I just bought it anyway hoping that I wont face the same problem but oddly enough.. the same thing happened to me after just one hour of playing with it... So I went though some YouTube vids and found that this is a common problem and can be fixed easily with just a few steps...and here they are:-1. Go to Settings and select Device and Printers.2. Right click on the game controller icon and select Game Controller Settings3. Go to Properties4. Then Go to Settings Tab and hit the Reset to Default button.5. And that's it.I think the problem occurred because windows atomically calibrated the directions during device installation.Anyway these steps helped my problem and hopefully it will help you too.If you find this review helpful then hit the 'helpful' button so that this review will go to the top and help many others who are facing this problem. One more thing... I am giving a four star just because I wanted an xbox controller but is too expensive for me... just my personal preference :DCheers!!
★☆☆☆☆ I bought this farce of a product & worked fine for 2 weeks. All of a sudden the left stick is malfunctioning. The left stick goes to left even when it is not pressed. To prove it to you I captured some pictures with my calibrator on my PC. As you can see see the pictures 1, 2 & 3 are where the controller was working fine. When the stick is pressed to left the + mark in the square is going left and when it is pressed right it should go to the right and etc. When the stick is not pressed the + mark should stay in the centre as shown in picture no. 3. Now look at no. 4 picture. This is where the problem comes. the press mark is going to the left even when the stick is not pressed at all. it is moving all by itself and the stick is going to the left even when I do not operate it. This caused a lot of problems as I was trying to play FIFA and other games. The player always goes to the left even when you want the player to go to the right that is because of this controller. And also the 'A' button doesn't respond very well. After spending almost 1200 rupees I was given this ridiculous product. if I had received a faulty product then I would have been less angry. but the product worked fine for 10 days, and right after the return window expired now it started malfunctioning. Now this makes it hard to return this controller as the return window is over and I'm stuck with this faulty product forever. once again I am telling you do not buy Redgear products. even if they are costly buy Logitech, Microsoft or Sony controllers. They will stay with you longer.
★★☆☆☆ Been using Xbox 360 wireless for a long time. Recently got Redgear and here are my observations :Pros :1- Cheap and perfectly functional2- Illuminated buttons3- Xinput and Directinput switching is cool4- Turbo mode is a nice addition, so is rechargeable battery with good life.5- Buttons and joysticks feel surprisingly tactile. Wasn't expecting this in a cheap gamepad.6- Size is easier to hold. I have large hands but 360 controller was not the most comfortable gamepad, this one is slightly smaller and is more ergonomic.7- Its also nice how they have used LEDs to indicate mode of input/battery status etc.Cons :1- Plastic feels cheap.2- Back rudders (Right and Left Triggers) feel very cheap and fragile. Very strange as rest of the buttons/joys are of nice quality.Bonus Shortcuts:1- To turn off gamepad press Back+B for 5 seconds.2- To reset if you encounter problem, insert a pin in the hole in the back of the gamepad3- To change between Dinput or Xinput press and hold HOME key on game pad for 5 seconds. Dinput is 1010 and X input is 0101 (Led lights)4- You can press Back+Left stick button (press it down) to swap POV hat and Left stick. Useful if you are playing old games who don't support full axis support.Edit : The gamepad has developed several major issues where the charging pin wont take charging correctly making charging very hard. The back lights on gamepad wont turn off even after gamepad is switched off (both auto turn off and manual turnoff) causing it to run out of battery every time. The axis is constantly wonky and wont work properly even after calibration.
★★★★★ Box contents:The game pad comes with 2 2.4GHZ dongles,1 microusb to usb A, CD driver for d-input support on pc,user manual and the gamepad.OVERVIEW OF THE RED GEAR WIRELESS PRO SERIES:This one is for the people who had childhood dreams of buying a gamepad. The gamepad feels lite and moderately premium in hand and it works fine on both my pc and Android, the vibrations are pretty good and jaw dropping for this price point.
